head gone or not?

as in my previous thread, i changed the cam removing the head bolts and reusing them. (they were brand new)

after aprox 20 mins of running the front hose exploded leading people to think it was an airlock or the head gasket

ive just checked the oil cap and dip stick and there doesnt seem to be any sign of water in the oil :confused: i hope this is a good thing.
does this mean that it might have been an air lock or should i sort the head out and have it looked at?

have it looked at, its only going to cause worry/pain in future

it might not have ruptured oil -> water galleries, it might only be a combustion to water leak

right, so its deffanatly worth taking the head off?
just want to make sure before i go crazy with a spanner

if in doubt, whip her off.... you need to anyway since you reused head bolts lol

true, will get on the case asap. took ages to get the manifold off, bloody 4 branch. hope its all ok, got a mate to do a compression test on it soon
