A bloke on EBAY is selling a chipped ECU for a GSi. He reckons it is just a case of pulling out the old one and in with the new. Does anyone reckon it could be this simple.
I thought the chip was set up specifically to that individual car, or is the chip simply changed to a set program developed by superchips.

Yes u can just swop the ECU's. The Super Chip has a standard mapping set for any GSI. It's only when u get a re-mappable system that it is set for that specific car.

ive got a 2 litre 8 v nova would the gsi superchip be any use to me....if not what chip should i buy

you get wotever chip is needed for the engine that u have,
if u have a 2l 8v cav engine, u need the chip for the cav!!! as long as its still running injection
