Thinking about replacing bodypanels sometime in the future, as the saloon is a starting to look a bit rusty.

Can you get replacement complete rear panels for the 2dr saloon? I know some places list replacement rear arches, but I may well need to replace the bottom of the boot side panel as well. I'd rather not have to cut metal to fit if I can avoid it, as my cutting and shaping skillz leave a lot to be desired lol

Also, will 3dr hatch sills fit a 2dr saloon?

ive seen a few pop up on ebay now and again, but not very often.you'll just have to keep a eye out

is'nt the saloon basicly a hatch with a boot added?(ie.floor pan wise) if so the hatch sills should fit

Hatch sills may fit, however the distance from the front arch to the rear arch is longer on a saloon than a hatch. Those who have tried fitting GTE sideskirts to saloon have found out that hardway.

Thats the panel I'm looking for.

Yeah, I did remember the sideskirts don't fit, although I'm hoping thats more to do with the wheel arch panels being different.

Try asking about panels at local motorfactors Jack.

Most round here do Hadrian panels (out of a Green book), they are generally a good fit & not too pricey.

The sills match, OEM panels are still available.
As many people asked already about them and as shipping will be a mess (and very expensive) I thought about coming over to the UK with a van full of parts.

Cheers

I should think you'd definitely have the demand for a delivery run!! I'd imagine the rear panels would be quite expensive though, from Opel?

I met my parts suppliers last WE and we only have to find out when to do it.
Panels are about 120-150 Euro, what is not expensive for an OEM part, in my opinion.
