cost of c20xe conversion

just lookin for a few estimates on how much it would be to do a redtop conversion on a nova. on basically the whole set up excluding the engine,,,,,,, thanks ...:thumb:

Do it yourself, theres plenty of people on here happy to help with advice and maybe even some spannering.

It'll only cost you the price of the parts then (and some welding)

sorry should of mentioned. dad and brother are mechanics. wouldnt have to pay for much labour like.

If you mean parts wise, youll need an engine and box including loom, fitting kit, GTe shafts and Cav MK2 inner CV's.

Youll need the bay seam welded, the inner wing modified to clear the alternator, and an exhaust either bodged onto an XE manifold or a new custom system (better option)

Then obviously you need to upgrade the brakes and suspension, preferably to 256mm discs and ATE callipers, and 300lb springs on the front with decent spec dampers.

Im not on about labour. just the cost of all the parts excluding the engine and gearbox. just a rough price. :thumb:

CV's 60 quid without exchanges
Exhaust. 350 if you go for proper stainless item, Nothing if you bodge a GTe zorst.
Brakes 50 quid for callipers (used), New disks and pads from wherever for whatever.
Suspension, shouldnt be spending less than 350 quid.

Obvioulsy you may be able to source most of this used.

induction kit (as airbox wont fit)
