You need the dizzy, coil and module from a 1.2/1.3/1.4 carb engine.
It will run on a gsi setup, but it will sit at idle static advance all through the revs,i.e. will be ****e.
What coil/dizzy etc do you have?
The coil probably has no ignition 12v if you've removed the ecu

i simply have the standard gsi coil module and dizzy, there is no contact breaker thus no spark, if i put a other carb dizzy and coil on is it a straight swap job etc?
cheers
Gsi dizzys dont have a contact breaker, its entirely electrical(same as all nova OHC carb engines)
Its not a straight swap plug job, the carb coil will need wiring, only an ignition live, earth and rev counter wire.
