View Full Version : Shaft splines for valver
Ok, I'm sitting here with a CV catalogue in my hand trying to find out wich inner CV's fit a F20 / nova GTE shafts, but I need to know the number of inner/outer splines for said Cv. Any help?
if this is for a 2 litre conversion you need standard gte/gsi nova shafts matched up with inner mk2 cavvy 1.6 joints . you can get amk re-con ones for ?25-?30 from your local partco . + vat that is .
i work at the local partco and have been supplying my mates with them for the last 6 conversions they have been spot on if you send me your e-mail address i will get the part numbers on monday when i am back at work . i will get exact years aswell

14sr you have mail :)
14sr, have they had any problems with them???ie broken shafts/cv joints.
Come to think about, it who cares at that price, got to work out cheaper that getting new valver shafts when they go.
my mate has had his in for about 1-2 years now and he aint had any probs . we took the car to belgium the other weekend and it went well apart from the weather . my other mate is in the middle of doing another 2 transplants as we speak . also the driver off the nova we took to belgium drives like he stole it all the time i aint kidding i crap myself every time i am out with him :o
the inner joints that you need are from a mk2 cavvy 84>88 1.6/1.8 manual . internal spline = 22 external spline = 34 hub seal diameter = 35 mm the amk recon part number is TDL3051R price varys your local partco can order them at about ?33+?5 surcharge +vat the boots you need are from the same car . part no qhn QJB167 at about ?6 + vat these all match up to your standard gte/gsi/td shafts and outer joints . hope this was off much help to you all :)
Thanx 14sr!
Now, to the parts counter... :D
