ok some one in my area has seen the beast lol and now wants to race me, ( on a private road ov corse) lol now i wanna know do u lads think my tuned nova 2.0 16v nova will beat a new renault megane 2.2 turbo ? cuz i think it will after being in the megane.... what do u think ??? :thumb:

How many max power stickers does the Megane have?
1) stop text typing
b.) racing on the roads is ghey
iii) define "tuned" (by the way an induction kit/powercap/superchip dont count as tuned)
The megane turbo's are 2000cc afaik.

yer you will need to get a very good start and hope he misses a gear or somethink lol if you want to stand a chance
megane would be 225bhp
nova would be around 150bhp
nova weighs less but megane could probably put the power down better. Could be close, need to know more about the nova tho. e.g: 'tuned' parts, etc

the astra VXR has more power an gets spanked by 2lt novas down the 1/4, I wouldnt worry about it as new cars weigh more thna the moon.

They weigh like 1400KG, and have less bhp/ton than a Xe nova :cool:

A standard XE nova will clearly beat the migrane (if driven properly)
I raced my mate in a brand new vxr (he works for Dealer) and I was clearly faster than him. (allthough mine is well stripped, but the engine is stndard.)

I tell you them T5s with blue lights go like absolute stink! My money would be on the nova, provided it is a decent conversion and doesnt have stupid mods, such as half a ton of filler and speakers and 19" 'rims'.:thumb:Also one driver cold be better than the other...

My money would only go on a Nova if the person behind he wheel could actually drive a car properly, not a 'ring road warrior' otherwise its got no chance.
no im pretty confident in my driving. ive driven non stop since i passed at 17 and have had some pretty fast cars as im on a traders policy ;) but so far nothing has came as close as the nova. its fast a fook. and as for the comment about the movie.... how many cars have you ditched mate as i havnt ever !!! cheers :thumb:

Mate if your going to race him then race him if your confident in your driving then you shouldn't need to ask if you could win it's not the car its the driver that win's the races obviously your car would have to be quick but mainly its the driver so either race or don't.

was going to say traders policy start at 18 but its rare for under 21's to be on one.
im also 19 i can use works traders for any car like z4 2.5 we traded in that was fun
