webber carbs?

got most of my valver parts now including the piper cams etc but some one told me that if the cams are abit mad then they pulse bak and make the car run shite? sum bloke that races said 2 run it on webber 45s but im unsure as i used 2 h8 carbs! are they much hassle and r they much bother once in use? but i like the idea of the extra power 2!
so what would you lads prefere the standard injection or the 45s
any help appreciated
