I got my KYB shocks from motorsportworld.co.uk or you could try buypartsby.co.uk as they do them for cheap too.

These sites were the cheapest I found

Hope this helps

No idea compared to Gmax, but since I replaced my old shocks with KYB gas ones the car is difficult to rock/bounce by hand and will only return to its original position rather than continuing to bounce, and feels much more direct/sure footed whilst driving.

Sign of a healthy shock absorber.

IIRC KYB offer a range of dampers, OE replacement (black) uprated (orange) & Premium (Gold).

I had the Orange ones & found them pretty good.
