Well got hold of this shell off of Womble SRI (Thanks very much Neil!) for free about 3 months ago.

Aim was to build myself a budget winter runaround, so set about stripping it down some more. I then welded and painted the bay, had to weld a new slam on also.

Also I had to give the rear arches a bit of attention too, other than that, the shell itself wasnt too bad.

The shopping list was:

-Engine (decided for a c20xe)
-Conversion kit and shafts
-New bonnet, passenger side door, drivers door, 2 new wings, grill, rear bumper and tailgate.
-Wheels
-Suspension
-16V Brakes
-GSi skirts
-Exhaust System
-Master Cylinder and Servo
-Interior

Got a few of these things from Neil. The day before I went to pick the shell up I went down to breakers to see what they had there, and I cam back a very happy man!

Managed to get hold of Glacier white bonnet, grill, GSi Kit and Pass. door. I also got 16V brakes, Suspension, Momo Steering wheel and boss, SRi Radiator and fan and SRi Servo and Master Cylinder!

So had pretty much everything to do it!

Got the shafts off of someone on here, and the conversion kit off of ebay.

Bought a Calibra 16V with no tax and test, used engine and wheels, everything else got weighed in.

Car went for its MOT on Tuesday and passed first time! Got the tax Tuesday evening, and been driving it since, no problems as of yet!

At the moment, it stands me in at under ?750 that includes tax and mot etc!
