well, since the ladies been laid up in the garage for two months, i've finally decided her fate...REBUILD! its starting next week where i'm going to strip it down and see how much work is really needed to get her mint. as for the engine, i'm sticking with the 1300, but its having a full rebuild, with a view for twin 40's. i'm not bothering going down the lightened and balanced route as a 4 door saloon doesent need to go fast. expect posts few and far between, and plenty of pictures of nasty rusty parts. and beware, this may take a while...

well, over a month into the project, and here's an update...








i've been well sidetracked and done nothing. but i have agreed to buy a set of coilovers from a mate with a corsa b for only a few pennies, and theyre only 8 months old. so now i'm thinking track / weekend cruiser. still starts first turn of the key tho.....

I had a Pearl a few year back as a cheapo run about, was ace !! lol
Was in fairly good nic untill i ruined it, always thought it would be amusing to stick a 16v motor in !!

okay, quick and last update.....

after stripping the car for a while, i found far too much rust to be going on with, so the beasty is dead and headed for the scrappy. still, i'm on the scout and have possibly found a decent replacement (i'll know in a few days) so in a couple of weeks there will be some tasty salon bits up for grabs.

watch this space...or the for sale section, one or the other...
