What size of tyres would be ideal on a Nova down 60mm

I dont want to hack away at the arches either to make them fit..

Cheers, Vaughan

the 175/65r14 std gte ones fit perfectly, anything bigger & arch mods are in order. one member a couple of years back had done the arch mods & still had tyre rubbing trouble, he ended up fitting some new rear beam bushes to cure it

No arch mods needed at all on 14"s, i used to run 185 / 60 / 14 on my GSi 3 spokes years ago ... pretty sure i ran 185 / 55's at one point to !!

I've run 185/60s & I cut about 5mm off the arch lips. just cos there is space when you are stationary doesn't mean it won't rub when you corner hard.

there used to be a kid in hinckley with 195's on a saloon & the makers name had been worn off the rears due to arch rub
