may sound like a dum question but what difference does it make if u fit a strut brace on the front of the car + would an alooy 1 or a steel 1 be best to fit

it stiffens the car ride up a bit, and makes car stronger. shud hold the road a ti better on sharp corners aswell.

alloy is lighter, the only advantage i think

depends on yer car, how low it is and the power. Strut braces stop the cars body twisting (not noticeable visually but when the car corners the pressures cause the body to twist under pressure), this can exert stress on components. Strut brace takes some of the load, stiffening the body and improving handling. Probably most noticeable on lowered cars. Anti roll bars also help - see artivles page ref these...

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotamy!

nova, 35 mm and its a 1.5 TD which has got some power and loads of torque. Is it worth it?
