too much air

my car sounds like its suckin too much air when i tap the pedal or accelerate fast, i can hear the k&n suckin. i had a similar prob b4 but it was the donut that goes from the power cap and sorted it last week. any help would b much appreciated :thumb:

Does it run / drive ok ? Not using to much fuel ect ... ?
Has it just started doing it ? What engine ?

yeh but not this much, it basically nearly cuts engine out an u can just hear sucking, it runs ok if i drive it carefull but wen i put my foot down it does it, its an opel kadett gsi (c20xe) my 1st one so im not sure of common problems wiv em lol

Sure there isn't any leaks or splits in any of the hoses ?

any hoses in perticular ? like i say originally it was doing it bad untill i opened my eyes and spotted that dounut off the power cap lol but since the 130mph its doing it agen but not as bad, do 280 duration cams make the car lumpy aswel ???
