Well I had a day off today to sort some things out and I ended up buying a **** load of cooking oil from asda and putting it in the diesel corsa. Even buying brand new oil it works out at about 50p a litre instead of about 90-100p for diesel. Also they do big ass 20l drums at costco which i shall going to pick up soon. lol Saves me me some extra money and i get to drive around smelling like a bbq.

Did you just put it straight in or mix it with diesel?
what does it run like phil?
A 'friend' of a friend used to put 50/50 veg oil and diesel mix in his Landy...

just poured it straight in the tank was about 50/50 mix as i had half a tank already in, it really doesnt like starting up now but once its going its fine. Its lost none of its amazing slowness either. lol
As slow it may be, think of the money your saving...and that it doesn't matter where you park it!
One of the drivers near us does 9 parts veg to 1 part paraffin, apparently it stops clogging issues in colder weather.

you have to declare it? do they chuck another tax or summit at you?
if using it to move a vehicle then you have to pay the duty on it.... makes it equiv to something like 60p a litre if you get it cheap.
But there is a tax free limit per month but you need to keep all recipts, and supermarkets are obliged to inform HMcustoms that people are purchasing large quantities of oil.... the chinkey supermarkets dont care ;)
actually was a thing on fifth gear other night, law has changed, only need to declare if over 2500 litres used i think, equates to 20k per year they said
Ian is correct, see here (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/briefs/excise-duty/brief4307.htm) for more info.
they sell it legit near york. its 74.9p litre. still 20p litre cheaper than normal diesel!
Mind it doesn't 'catch a cold' - using veg oil might cause bacteria build up :
