Stupid question!

Right might be swapping my corsa GSI for a Nova 1.4 sr with:

Twin 40 dellorto carbs
Lightened and balanced fly wheel
Piper fast road cam/and vernier pully
Full exhaust system with heat wrap round manifold

so the question is will it be quicker than my gsi or about the same???

The corsa weighs more.

It depends on which head the SR engine has, and exactly what cam, and whether the carbs are setup right.

I went from a T40d, Kent AST2'd, 1400 8v, to a corsa gsi/sport engine, and the gsi engine was Much quicker, and drive twice as well.
