i think they might touch i tried some 14" rims on mine and im sure they touched but they were steel wheels of a vw i think.

i have seen 14" tigra alloys over 2 litre calipers tho so you might be lucky

No they don't. Think someone has done it with a lot of grinding of the calipers but I wouldn't recommend it. I thought my standard Nova Gsi brakes felt as good as the 16v ones.

As said they won't fit without grinding the calipers down, which isn't recommended.

The far stronger brakes will be a bit too much for the skinny 175 width tyres IMO aswell.

ive seen it done with no modification of the calipers

I'm sure I've read that later GSI wheels are slightly different to early ones and they do/might clear, but don't hold me to it...

I had to find some larger wheels as a temp fit after fitting 16V discs. I robbed some (not literaly) 14" steel wheels from a tigra and they went on fine.

apparently tigras and corsa b's have 256 by 20mm discs and slimmer calipers, instaed of the normal 256 by 24mm discs. These supposedly fit behind gsi wheels.

I'm using those brakes, you also get them on cav td's, but I still had to shave the calipers down slightly. A 5mm spacer would have easily made mine clear, but I didnt think of it at the time lol.
