View Full Version : HELP, linkage hitting steering race xe.conv.

got my gearbox cradle on, got the gear linkage on (nova one with bush spu round) now when i try to get reverse or 1st the top arm on the linkage fouls the steering rack, and advice/pics?

is the engine at the correct height i the correct spacer etc on rear mount and the correct mount at the front

mine has pleanty of room thats a bit of a strange one

got the front engine mount bolted in in the top 2 holes, the gearbox spacers are '2 on the gearbox side of the cradle and one on the opposite side of the cradle'

What rear mount are you using?????? cav/nova???

Mine used to catch on one of the bolts that holds the steering rack to the bulkhead so I had to trim that down.
