Windscreen Visor = Mot

I Got A Black Visor On Me Nova And Its Quite A Big One Was Just Wondering If I Got Me Windscreen Tinted On Onside The Saame Size As The Visor On Outside Would It Still Pass An Mot Its Currently Bout 6 Inches

I take it you mean a tinted sunstrip? if so I don't think so... something to do with the window wiper and light levels inside the car. Plus a friend did it and it looked crap. Just fit a SR/GSi graded top tint screen.

for the sunstrip its something like if your wipers touch it then its a fail ,

as for tinting your window , iirc you are only allowed a 10% tint on the windscreen , there is a few mot'ers on here who will correct me if im wrong :thumb:

ur not aloud to tint the winscreen unless its factery tint.

wipers are not alowed to go over the sunstip by 10mm on the drives side and no more than 40 on the passanger side.
