I Got A Nova 1.6 Sr And When Revving Up Theres A Whining Noise From Engine Any Ideas Im Thinging Its Coming From Alt But Not Sure Has Any One Had This Problem B4

Dry belt? also is it a 1.6i engine in an SR or a bored out 1.4SR engine?. Check belt tension. Is it all the time or when pulling hard?

Aye, alternator belt i bet.

Spray wd40 all over the belt and see if the noise goes..
