I've just got a mint nova need help jacking it up

Hi i've just got a new nova ,i was wondering if anyone could tell me the best points to jack it up.Because i don't want to ruin the underneath,i'm useing a 2.5kg trolley jack.

I jack the front up by the tie bar mounts and place stands on the chassis rail. I jack the rear up on the axle and put stands on the sill.

Not sure if it's the best way of doing it though.

I always use the two "rails" that run from the sill area to the chassis leg box for the front.

And the rear axle for the rear.

Then a axle stand under the rear beam mounting point, and the front chassis leg.

Id advise putting a block of wood on the jack head tho.

to jack up the front jack it up behind the front wheel on the chassie (it's a raised bit) and for the back i usualy jack it up just in front off the back wheel on the ball part of the axal it saves any damage to the car

As LLTN says. Put a few wrags on top of the jack though to protect paint etc.
