toothed belt

How do you slacken the toothed belt to remove it. Says somthing bout loosening 3 bolt which you can get acess to through the back plate but cant see them :p just tryna change me head gasket. Its a 1.2

The waterpump bolts, small 5mm alley key type bolts.
Loosen them, then turn the pump.
In theory.

Usually the pump needs a good hammering to get it to shift tho.
