engine managment code's

i copyed this off msn so sorry for the big righting but some one told me you can short 2 pins on a plug thats usually near the wiper motor, and then when you turn the ignition on the management light will flash in a pattern.

After some searching it seems that you short pins A&B, but I can't help you with which code means what.

Yeah as said.
Next to the wiper motor, remove the 8pin(i think) black plug, its plugged into a blank socket.
And then bridge pins a & b.
