basicly i found a 1.0gem nova today in the trade-it and its ?50.
this kid is desprite to have my lux for banger racing even tho it doesnt run lmao.but hes just said he'd pick up the nova for me and give me a nova gte engine lol.its made me think what would u do in a situation like that??

I'm not sure I understand the offer here.... you're saying your found a ?50 nova in trade it for ?50, meanwhile some kid has offered to swap your nova for a GTE engine?

If the engine and ?50 nova are good, why not, but as said I'd be a bit wary of the price. Even I'd be suspicious of a Nova that cheap lol

right let me refresh the storey so people understand it better.
theres a chap i know that wants my nova he will not stop going on about it he wants if for the prod rods i just call it banger racing,hes bin on the fone all bloody week trying to get it from me.
ive found this nova in the trade-it all it say's nova 1.0gem mot faulier tax till november runs well.
mean while i get another fone call and tell him about it so he might buy it but then he turns round and goes well why dont i pick it up with my trailor i have the nova for free and ill give u a nova gte engine with a big cam.
thing is he's had that engine in a corsa and ragged the hell out of it and it runs horrible my plan was a rebuild.
so i was just deep in thought about it lol.understand more lol

So basicly your swapping your LUX for some ropy GTE engine and the loan of a trailor ... then you buy the Gem for ?50

This rally/banger racer bloke whats to swap the Lux for a GTE engine, which leaves him without a car... thus he needs to buy the 'Gem' for ?50.

EDIT: reading it more, basically you'ld go from a car that doesn't run to a car that needs an engine rebuild and conversion and pay ?50 for the luxury, plus the price of the rebuild. What is in the Lux atm, why doesn't it run? how mint is the shell on each?
