horn trouble

i have hade a problem with my saloon wen i sound the horn my engine cuts off could any tel me whats rong thanks alot. joe

if it is a standard horn, disconnect both wires & then try the switch.
the horn may be shorting out. if disconnecting it cures the engine dying problem then a new horn is needed. Also check the earth strap from the gearbox to the chassis, it usually has something to do with engine electrical faults.
