Afternoon all. Just a question reguarding the nova build manual. In the manual it states that a 190mm clutch is used yet a nova GTE clutch is 200mm. Can anybody shed any ligt on this

1.2/1.3/1.4 had a 190mm clutch.

Some Sri's, and nova gsi's/gte's had 200mm clutch.

Do you know what flywheel was used in the GTE/GSI as the 1400 fly wont engage with the starter IIRC?

Yeah, a bigger fly was used.

So in theory i can use a 190mm clutch on a GTE fly with a 200mm contact area?

No, you need a gte/gsi fly to fit a 200mm clutch/

ummm, i'll double check but i'm sure i have a GSi (200mm) clutch fitted to my standard 1.2 with F10/13 so surely the flywheel would be the 190 type? I thought they were all the same...

The reason i posted this up is because theres a 190mm cluth on ebay. I just cant figure out why in the build manualit states to use a 190mm clutch. I know you cant use an f10 box on the 1600 due to it not clearing the larger fly.So surley the 1600 fly is bigger than the 1.2/1.3/1.4. Any more info?
