problems with my clifford concept 300

got my clifford fitted on friday 3/5/02 from gap security and its great !! only 1 problem, the fitter said my drivers side central locking motor was nackerd and he said that I needed a new 1 but that I needed the passengers side 1 so that it will work on its own !! BUT the passengers motor has 2 wires going to it and the drivers motor has 3 wires going to it, will the passengers motor work on the drivers side ?? has anyone else had this problem !!! please help

the drivers one is normally the primary and the passenger is the slave

often the drivers side doesnt have 1, and they need to add it b4 they fit the remote locking system
