petrol pump problems Help

hey i have just put a 2ltr 8v in my nova the petrol pump keeps burning out i have replaced it to the front of my car but still have same problem any help ??????

Use an eternal MPI pump and mount it near the fuel tank. Those pumps are designed to push fuel rather than pull, if that makes any sense lol.

thats strange a ran my external pump on the bulk head for 4-5 months?

You shouldn't have done/\
They only like pushing fuel.

by the sounds of it m8 u have a wiring fault go through ur wiring making sure none are fraid and touchn if there ok let us no.

cheers i will try when i finish work i thought mayb one of the wires and been told that the pumps dont like sucking as they are a gravity fed pump i will let yas know :thumb:
