size wheels

help i have nova gsi on h plate and was wondering wats size wheels will fit without modding the arch's will 17's go on or are the 16's the biggest ;)

no not lowered standard at mo looking at some alloys but not sure wat size as not sure wat will fit

well 15s will be no problem but 16s might just rub if youve got a full car and get the correct offset aswell iirc its 35

i got 17s and lowered 60mm had to roll the arches tho

imo you should lower it first, then fit some wheels. Two reasons, it will look a hella of lot better i.e no 4x4 impressions and secondly when you do get some wheels you can try them, as they may fit when standard but not when lowered.

15's - ET42-49 - 195/45/15 tyre
16's - ET47.5-49 - 205/40/16 tyre
17's - ET49 (no wider than 6.5") 205/40/17 tyre

Thats a rough guide, if your very luck you won't have to play with the archs.... that much.

The correct offset for a Nova is ET49. I think that 16" wheels look the best but its an awkward size for tyres. I would only reccomend 15" wheels. Lots of tyres to choose from and the wheel looks the right size for the car. I think that 17" wheels look too big on a standard Nova.

If you want the widest range of wheels then grind out your arches and you will be able to fit a bigger range of wheels under the arches. I can fit a 7J 16" wheel under my arches but its damn close. Thats also still ruinning 195 rubber.
