whining again!

after slackening my cam belt off a lil,my engine is still whining,I replaced the water pump,and it has a brand new cambelt on,so Im stumped now-sounds bad when I aint got the ICE on!

i had the same prob with mine, the water pump split so i had to buy a new 1(obviously),fitted that and a new cam belt and it made a whining noise,my local garage reckons it was a faulty pump cant quite see how cos so far ive gone through 3 of em,& it still makes the noise, but it doesnt sound too bad once you get over 1500 revs,i must admit its very annoying :-/

its not alternator cos I disconnected it- the whinning is very annoying! all I can think is something is rubbing the cambelt, or maybe somethings not lubricated somewhere?-this is the only bit that lets the car down at the mo,excluding the manky rear arch-anyone managed to sort this sorta problem? :-/
