alright peoples just wanting too no what offset is for nova gsi as im wanting corsa sxi wheels and then getting speedlines

IIRC a nova gsi had 47.5mm offset wheels from the factory.

Yes they were 47.5 (I beleive due the the proximity of the calipers)

But the general rule is 49mm for any wheels up to 6inch wide. Then add 3-5mm for every half inch you add to that width. (ie 7inch rims would need to be between 45-40 mm to avoid clashing with suspension components. However, the more width you add, and less the offset the more arch work you will need to do.)

In general anything more than 6inch wide will foul standard nova arches, (hence y speedlines are so popular as they are one of the few 16" rims that come in 6inch wide AND 49mm offset)

Thought Speedlines were 6.5" wide, Softstars are 6" I think.

ok so with speedlines its 6inch wide with 49 offset thanks. what corsa sxi wheels will fit or wont there

Yes im sure the gsi's were 47.5mm as well but i wouldnt get too anal over 1.5mm

If it's between 42-49mm should be fine

how do you know if its in between 42-49mm will it mater that ive got a 40mm drop cheers

tbh, any Vauxhall FWD 4 stud wheels will be fine...
