Won it on ebay tonight, all going well next weekend i'll bring it home....

It wasn't cheap, and people would think I'm mad paying what I have for it, but in Nova circles, ones like this come around 1 time in 1000 cars!

Its a 18 year old, 20,153 Mile from new Vauxhall Nova 1.3SR, and its been garaged all of its life!

Those of you who know, will know i've always loved the SR (more so than the GTE/GSi) and such this is quite possibly my perfect car, and as Nova's go its as good as factory new!

Its gonna stay almost exactley how you see it now, and in my nice dry garage http://www.street-stylers-southwest.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smile1.gif Classic insurance it will have, and being a baby 1.3 will cost around ?150 a year! In my eyes as much a future classic as the Fiesta XR2 etc.

In my eyes, its nigh on as good as the other few minters seen quite recently for around ?1500, and being a sporty model from new, makes it worth that bit extra :D

Awesome find, well worth spending a few quid on especially since its an SR (I prefer those too!).

Seem to be quite a few low mileage minters coming out of the woodwork lately, hope they don't dry up before I get my chance lol

It's a lovely car Si, i was keeping my eye on this one my self.

Now i think it's a lovly car mate, dont get me wrong, but i relly dont think i would have payed ?2028 for it, that is alot of money to spend on a "nova"..but if your happy with it and will love it then fiar play mate.

must have known something would cock up, when i wrote hopefully.

Went to withdraw from savings today, cause I open the uber high interest rate account i cannot access the money for 12 months, ****ing typical, ive 10 months to wait! And having a mortgage, and impromptue loan is going to cripple me long term, I guess I'll go looking in ten months with an extra 500 quid :(

Gutttteddddd

I've spoke to the guy who owns it, he's obviously annoyed, but i've said i'll pay to have it relisted as some go between, I can't believe it! :(:( The next high bidder was 1975 so hopefully he will 2nd chance it and be ok. All because I was being good and saving! :(

Like I said its being relisted so anyone else, Ad will back up with the photos shown, its an amazing Nova which would have gone bloody well into my garage too!

Yep no trip up north for me :( I would have seriously thought about a loan, but I've 800 odd going out a month on my house, a loan on top would be a move too far!

My own fault though I guess, but still come next year i'll have ?500 more and a pay rise to afford it somemore!

A real kick in the balls there -- Lets hope it goes to another fellow enthusiast and doesn't get wasted..
