he has enough money to buy one but wants to know about insurance.


18, 1 years no claims and pass pluss.

I reckons it'll be 1500 a year because of where we live. He's paying about 880 a year for an Sri at the mo.

that sound about right?

I was paying about 1.5k at 19 on mine, I would expect it to be more to be honest.

true. is just that for some reason its mega cheap where we live (in countryside) so im knocking say 200 off what i thought (i first guessed about 1700)

youre looking at specialist insurers - just keep an eye on the excesses - you'll find most insurance companies will have a VERY BIG compulsory or driver specific excess.
