to change my spi fuel system to a mpi do i just have to put a internal mpi pump into the fuel tank

are all the mpi pumps the same whats the best car to get one from

You can get an in-tank MPI fuel pump from mk3 Astras and I presume other Vauxhalls from around the same year too. 1.4 and 1.6 pumps are the same but I can't say if others are.
