Coolant getting into oil system

engines been sat dead for ages so after rebuilding it etc tried firing and noticed coolant being pumped up through the oil channels to the cam, anyone had similar problems or know of any common problems, its the e16se gte engine and yes the head gasket was on the right way round! lol had to double check though, any help greatly appreciated cos dont want to take engine back out again if i can help it, cheers

how much water?? could be from when you took head off and poured down oil ways

No i mean about 1 1/2 litres, cant of been cos i dry built it on a bench before dropping it in, just wondered if any one has had cracked block issues or anything?
