Modified Nova 1300 cc Rally or Race Engine (1300cc Eight Valve)

Vauxhall Nova/Astra/Corsa Race or Rally Car Engine - 1300cc 8 Valve, Very Quick
Complete and ready to fit modified 1300cc engine for a Vauxhall Nova, Astra or Corsa. Comes with all ancillaries e.g. alternator, starter motor, distributor, coil etc. (but no gearbox)
This engine was fitted to a very successful road rally Vauxhall Nova, with many class wins to its credit. It runs very nicely, with no smoke or rattles, and goes extremely well for a 1300cc. Last time on the rolling road it showed 92bhp at the flywheel (it uses a standard camshaft). More power could easily be extracted if you fitted a higher lift camshaft.
The specification is as follows;
Built by Brian Wills with lightened and balanced bottom end
Blydenstein B+ gasflowed Big Valve cylinder head with bronze valve guides
Single Weber 32/34 carburettor with ITG foam air filter (road rally legal)
Pipercross crankcase breather
Double Silicone HT leads
4 into 1 exhaust manifold with heat wrap insulation
Power output last tested at 92bhp at the flywheel
