Whats everyones thoughts on these?

Im considering doing one instead of rebuilding the turbo engine in the Nova, but unsure at the moment.

Easy to build for a competant mechanic? Reliable once done? Best kit?

Im liking the look of these:

I reckon it could be built for 10-12k. Imsurance isnt a problem.

imho (and experience) I wouldnt touch a robin hood with burgos knob.

Look on eghey, loads of part finished kits going for about ?5K with engines etc and they arent the poo 1700X-Flows either.
a Dax would be the mutts nuts to build but would rock in at way more than ?10K :(

Im pondering getting a part finished kit and sorting it as im bored and tinkering the VX is futile

A guy on another forum I frequent is building one of these: http://www.marlinsportscars.co.uk/marlin_sportster.php

They're based on a 3-series bimmer and I think they look great.

a mates dad has an old R reg marlin with an MGB lump in, goes fairly well. not my cup of tea though. we also have a kit car comes in at work, think its a westfield, with a 2.0L zetec motor in. thats a fairly smart car, goes like stink!
