xe sfi box, two types? which one for xe nova?

Hi peeps, which sfi box do i need to clear the bulkhead on my xe? Apparently there's two diferent types? Part no's helpfull!:thumb:

I've managed to fit both types in the past but think the one with the lines across off an Astra GSi fits better than the one with the squares on off a GTE.

Sorry I can't be more help with part numbers etc.

To be honest it totallty depends on what mounts etc are used.

There is a slight moulding difference between the very early (square type- found on Astra GTE's etc) and later 'slat' type, I have found virtually no difference when fitting them. Some bolt straight on, some need a little persuasion! lol

Im using the box with the lines across it but have used the early type with squares on it

yeah the one with the lines fits a bit better , still had to push my bulkhead back a little bit

As said, astra gsi one has lines across, astra gte has squares.

Will it's on tas mounts, but as you saw i had a mare with it when i fitted it lol!

one with line's - un-modded too

lol erm i think the sfi box is the slightly cheaper altenative!

(tb's not to be ruled out though;) , i have my eye on 208 kit, but can't quite persuade the bloke to part with them for my kind of money!lol
