Well finally after graduating well over a year ago I have finally managed to get a suitable job that I have been looking / wanting to do for a long time. So from the 1st of October I shall be working in the Physics research department at Loughborough University, and as such wont be at JNC much after then.

Seems like ive been trying to get a job for ages an ages so its quite a load off my mind now.

nice one.

tooke me 13 months after graduation to find a "career" type job after uni..... all this bullcrap about "you will walk straight into any job you like with a degree" spouted by Labour is awesome as to how disconnected from the real world they are

Well done Phil, best of luck to you:thumb:

It feels so good when you get to do something you really want, it was the same for me when I got my qualifications, took me nearly a year to get the job im in now. But it was worth the wait

fooking hell Phil!

It has taken a long time to find the job you wanted, funny i was going to ask you if you were looking for a job relating to your degree, glad you have though.

After seeing you in the jnc rolling road day i was wondering if had given up looking for a bit.

(i was also thinking how funny it would be to turn up in the corsa, lol)

"Jack, you are old! so am i..27 next thursday!! "

Im going to be buying a sensible car for work (a 35 year old viva lmfao), was funy enough going to uni as a student in the corsa an wheel spinning into the posh kids.

Well the main jobs I'll be doing from what I can gather are:

- Designing, building an maintaining the super expensive research equipment, stuff like electron microscope, x-ray diffraction ect..

- training staff an students how to use the equipment.

- Helping the students do their final yer projects by modifying any equipment to meet their requiements.

- Helping with any research undertaken and the publication of scientfic papers.

I will never really leave jnc, always something to play with on cars.
