i have only gone and sold my gsi and brought its bubble of a brother i.e corsa. But before you all go of on one like those that i already said something to already and end up giving it the i cant belive you sold your gsi for a corsa its seriously not your average corsa as you can see!

basicly i sold the gsi and needed something quickly so i had a look through ebay and i wanted something cheap reliable practical (mechanic that does alot of private work) and a little more modern. and then i found this!

gave the guy a ring and within 2 hours i was on my way home

i am buying another nova very shortly as a project basicly gonna rebuild another turbo like the 1 i built last time but aim for 350bhp and this is going to be my cheap runaround for the time beeing comments welcome

enjoy

the night i brought it still on stilts lol

originaly a 1.4 corsa sport 3 owners including my self nearly a years mot and tax engineers report came with a free snooper engine is standard including exhaust and is silent no sign of ever beeing thrashed brought it of a 65 year old bloke that has now been declared disabled and has lost the use in his left arm so he cant drive it

first things first i droped it on its ass

brakes had a little bit 2 much travel in my opinion so i decided to clean and adjust the rear brakes but while i was there i found a nackered wheel cylinder so i ended up fitting 2 new wheel cylinders new set of shoes and cleaned and painted all the rear brakes aswell

same as any other corsa or nova droped 100mm with bilystien shocks like a go kart but its still a corsa its still heavy and its still a 1400 so as you can imagine im not gonna be breaking no land speed records thats for sure but that said its a runn around untill i get a nova project sorted built and on the road note the png stickers

I don't get these "pick up" conversions personally, but that one looks to be in fairly good nick! All the best with it!

ste porter
23-08-07, 08:49 PM
would anybody be interested in buying it as its screaming for a let engine or a rwd bike engine conversion

Jack
24-08-07, 08:24 AM
rwd bike engine conversion
Zilch weight on back + rwd = a car thats never going to go anywhere or do anything except shred tyres lol

ste porter
24-08-07, 06:52 PM
my point entirely and as for the light weight bit its no lighter on the back than standard due to all the bracing ect the only time it feelslight on the back is over 85-90 mph when theres sod all down force on the rear

ben doodar

ste porter
25-08-07, 07:50 AM

Did these ever have a production run , can't say I've seen this concept before ...
