Whats the best exhaust system for a nova gte i was thinking about getting a full ASHLEY system but would like stainless system instead, please help, and its got to have a really good sound.:thumb:

imo you cant beat the sound of an ashley system. but if you want a stainless one i like magnex systems. i also think scorpion systems are quite good....

As you enter cowling on the left hand side theres some new house's thats were i live.:)

From what I've heard Ashley are a little too loud for my liking.

I use to have a s/s mongose exhaust on my old GSI and the sound got deeper and better over time.Also it was very well made.

ive had scorpion and magnex on mine. and both very good and the sound are not to loud but all engine noise.

Mild is usually raspier. Stainless has more of a ting to the noise....


I'd get a BTB system if I wasnted a good system. Failing that Scorpion.
Make sure you buy for a mk2 (GSi) if you have a mk2 bumper..

My ashley is raspy as fcuk on my 16v, and sounds fookin annoying imo.
They sound ace on a 8v Engine tho.

I can vouch for the quality of the mongoose stainless system but you'll be hard pushed to get one as they aren't made anymore.

Second hand items only I'm afraid.

That's interesting..

When I bought mine straight from Collins Performance engineering they said they are no longer making Nova exhaust systems. I guess someone just has a fair bit of stock.
