i want to run a 5 stud set-up all round on my nova. what hubs do i need to use for the 5 stud?:confused:

calibra turbo :thumb:

EDIT: you don't HAVE to use cally turbo, its just the first 5 stud car that came to mind, and they also had XE/LET/V6 engines - so they should be strong enough :)

thanks dude. bit of luck there the hubs that have my 5 stud brakes and that on. ha ha makes things easy. what shafts can i use with them? got an xe lump in my nova going on to these hubs.

Front: Cav / Calibra Turbo or Vectra hubs machined to fit the Nova bearing or (better way) machine the steering knuckles out to accept Group A bearings (same width as Nova bearing, outer diameter 4mm bigger, inner diameter same as Cav / Calibra / Vectra) so theres not much machining to be done to the actual 5 stud hub ... much stronger set up.

Rear: Best to use Cav V6 bits, i used Vectra V6 bits on mine but the discs are a bit on the big side ... same process as doing a normal rear disc conversion.

Totally pointless tbh ... but it does look cool !!

i just want to do something diffrent to the normal speedlines, and that really. and try to cover up the brakes so wouldnt be able to tell its a sleeper

you can buy the xe conversion kit with 5 stud hubs now from m tech and chris astley

5 stud hubs are ?70 each.

ive used cali turbo hubs machine down from 39mm to 34mm then cav v6 stuff for the rears but they are hard to find now!! heard people using saab stuff now as its gm running gear iirc
