I have been offered a 4-1 manifold(believe its a gte one) would this fit to my 1400 carbed engine and would I see performance gains?

a car that works properly?- think Im daydreaming...

its off a 1600 SV astra engine but made to fit in a nova apparently,the bloke wants ?20 for it- he is selling as its too short to fit his engine in an astra now

4-1 gives bigger gain topend (at a loss bottem end)
4-2-1 gives a gain across the range (but no where near as much as the 4-1 gives topend).
Depends on what your after. If your gonna cam etc your gonna be shiftin your power range up high so you might as well use the 4-1. if its free use it!!!!

id make sure the rear exit angle is correct to fit ur system, if its for a gte it wont fit onto your sr system

Its ?20, and it wont mate up to my system, but my systems only standard cept a custom stainless backbox- if its cheap postage wise I will have it I think, cos Im after a performance system soon as it is, thanks peeps
