GSI/GTE's and Air Filters

With the Nova GSi engine I've been told that there is no point in fittin an induction kit as you don't get any power gains and to just drill the Air box??? How true/accurate is this??

yep this is true, drill a load of holes in the bottom of ur airbox and u will gain more power than fitting an induction kit. but you do actually gain some bhp from an induction kit and they sound nicer :)
