Big Block Starter Motor Issue

Hey guys

First up just wanna make sure my wiring's fine:-

Large red wire +12V constant to alternator ~ Battery - connected to largest bolt on starter motor

Thinner black with red stripe wire connected to smaller bolt on starter motor

The starter atm just makes a "click" noise when i try to start up??

?like it's pushing into flywheel but not spinning it?

any ideas?

sounds about rite mate..

maybe flat battery or dodgy earth...
