Btw incase you didn't know.
A weber/dellorto conversion onto a 1600 16v is a lot more complex than a 8v.
You need a aftermarket ecu/loom to control the ignition, which will also need to be mapped, so dont forget the costs of that.(You cant use a old dizzy setup)
The alternator needs lowering.
And in a nova, the firewall will probably also need removing due to lack of clearence.

You will need a low pressure fuel pump/regulator too.

Great way of putting old skool mechanics in place of modern electronics.

Whats the point?

Whats the point? Cheaper than tb's
Still give good gains.

megajolt kits are cheap and easy to install mapping can be a pain though. basically you use a ford edis module and motorcraft majiggy. a special pulley and a ford crank sensor. i think you can buy ready made mega jolt ecus for 100 pound or 50 pound and you solder them together our self. manifolds are hard got as there not made anymore. or so demon tweeks tells me. bowyer used to make them i have one but it aint for sale!

SBD make and sell the inlets....
As do Tuning.co.uk
Readily available.

You can use megajolt, but not many mappers will touch a home built ecu.

C20xe yes
As you can use a old dizzy.

Thats not ideal tho seeing as its advance is setup for an old 8v 80hp 1.6 single carb engine.

16xe loom is a piece of piss.

You can swap the standard upper inlet for a mantzel/lexmaul inlet, which gives 10/15hp gain, and is relatively easy to swap.
