if i wasnt to seam weld my engine bay if putting in a 2 litre what will happen will it all rip apart . how long would this take ?

It would rip apart.

It wont take very long at all.

You must seam weld the engine bay.

is there a guide anywhere on how to do it?is it hard? how much does it cost professionally cheapest i seen is ?400

I did mine myself. Its time consuming and a real pain to do as the joints to be welded nearly all have rubberised sealer in them making it impossible to mig weld unless its been totally cleaned away which isn't easy to do. Not having the right gear i resorted to burning and scraping it away with oxy-acetylene. It took me 3 long evenings to do but I didn't weld in any of the strenghtening plates etc needed for the 2.0l as i was retaining a 1.4.
