Ok basically ive been with adrian flux for two years, just got my renewal for ?380 fire and theft, which I think is sh-ite! Im 23 with 4yrs ncb trying to insure a 1.2 nova shell with a nova gte engine, 15" vauxhall alloys 16v brakes and its lowered, tried HIC and got ?397 fully comp but to me thats way too much.

Ive tried confused.com but hardly anyone wants to quote me let alone better than ?400.

Anyone else recommend a good company before I just get it insured as a bog std 1.2 and screw them over!

TBH Sreve, for a car with an engine conversion, thats pretty good.

And insuring it as a 1.2 will screw yourself over if another tree jumps out at you, not them lol

IIRC Norwich Union are heavily loading premiums for the "at risk groups" i.e. Male, under 25 etc.
Where one leads the rest swiftly follow. Generally premiums are going to go up.

Any ncb?
That seems expensive, i only pay ?450 for a 1.6 16v converted nova.

Im with HIC.
Aged 20, 3years ncb. 6k mileage.

All mods declared, including the 1600 16v engine.
Its around a group11 car(grouped as corsa sport due to engine), comparing that to "carls nova sri (http://www.pngclub.com/forum/member.php?u=16441)" who's sri will be group 7.

Sounds OK to me price wise, Flux have quoted me ?125 for the Sport with her mods, on an 3000 mile policy (but I am 40lol) how cheap do you want it?
