got a redtop in a corsa its underpowered afterb 4000 revs feels realy flat
last nite it got really hot and cut out wouldnt start for half hour opened the bonnet and the air filter had come loose, tok the pipe off and there was smoke come from the afm
had a little water coming from the tailpipe the other day too

anyone got any ideas whats wrong with it its cut out like this twice in 2 days now

water coming out the exhaust? Smoking white? Have a look under the oil cap/on dipstick if its creamy sounds like possible headgasket :(

Hope its not ive just taken the head of mine this morning, a real pain!

not smoking YET!! i was thinkin head gasket aint checked oil cap yet would that make it cut out and behave the way it did?

Water in exhaust will just be condensation, if it stops once the engines warmed up.

oil caps get creamy from condensation too not always the best judge of head gasket failure. check the header tank for oil

water was coming out when it was warm
