Hi, wonder whats the best exhaust for my nova when running c20xe.

Have seen these:

(2 1/4" Bore Twin Box System Black Tailpipe)

I always use magnex...can regularly pick them up cheap off of ebay.

The only reason they break is when the engine mounts are not up to the job and the rocking puts too much stress on it..

i have a ashley 2" GTE exhaust on mine,

imho it's too loud!,
saying that it not as loud as my last exhaust which was a 2" pipe (no mid box) to a std GTE back box.

if you find a nice exhaust let me know lol

try having it custom made at powerflow exshauts, i had one made for my 2L 8v, also iv had one made about a month ago for my 2L 16veco tec nov too. i carn't fault the chap who makes the exhausts, he dose a top job it all made from scratch, even the back box tell him wot you wont and he will do it. they are guaranteed for life too if you keep on top of your yearly check ups. hes a top man and i would recamend him to anyone. his name is phill and the number is: 01785 215111 ;)

The problem is that i have a coustom made 2 1,4 inch 2box exhaust system and it sounds like a moped on steorids. it sounds nice on idle but when i hit the pedal to the medal it does not sound nice.

I've heard that this is a common problem on the c20xe if you remove the standar cat and replace it whit a straight tube.

Any sugjestions og what propper system that dont give me this problem/ moped sound?
